# Background & Professional Journey

I was born in 1978, and I am a programmer with very limited English proficiency. I am currently learning English and hope to communicate better with people here. I have worked in software development for more than 15 years, and since 2010 I gradually transitioned from a pure technical role into comprehensive management.

# Passion for Basketball & Early Entrepreneurship

Basketball has always been my favorite sport—without question. In 2004, I co-founded a street basketball culture company called “街盟® (CSBA®)” in Shanghai with a group of friends, serving as co-founder and CTO. The company focused on organizing street basketball events, selling street culture merchandise, and distributing street basketball video content.

During the era when American street culture and the NBA were becoming extremely popular in China—while smartphones had not yet emerged—we built a user base of over 600,000 teenagers aged 12 to 24 through a PC-based website alone. We also developed more than 100 grassroots street basketball players in China. Many of them now have over one million followers, and some have become top influencers with more than 25 million fans.

We produced educational street basketball DVD content, introduced brands such as And1 and K1X into the Chinese market, and collaborated with international brands including Nike, Adidas, Decathlon, Coca-Cola, EA Sports, and Reebok. Every year, we organized the “China Tour” street basketball competitions across major Chinese cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Wuhan.

Starting in 2015, I founded another company focused on developing smart data-enabled accessories for traditional fitness equipment. However, the digital transformation of the fitness industry happened extremely fast—within just one year, most gyms in China had already entered the era of data-driven management.

# Entrepreneur Community Building

During this entrepreneurial period, I met many entrepreneurs in Shanghai. As a result, in 2016 I founded an entrepreneur community called “骑士会 (Knight Club)” in Shanghai. Its members include more than 2,000 entrepreneurs who have received Series A or later-stage equity investments, mainly across the technology and internet industries.

Over the past decade, I have also built and operated a broader community of more than 15,000 Chinese entrepreneurs, and have organized over 700 private boardroom-style executive roundtable sessions attended by business founders and company owners.

# Investments & Business Expansion

Based on these resources, in addition to my technology development work, I have also made investments in several areas, including distressed automotive asset businesses, mergers and acquisitions of Chinese companies, early-stage equity investments, event planning and execution, and premium club operations.

# Life in Austin & Cultural Mission

In Austin, I now spend most of my time with my family. At the same time, I hope more people can understand Chinese traditional culture and Chinese stories. Therefore, I created this website, hoping it can serve as a window for the world to better understand China.
